Rosemarie Anderson was born in Saskatchewan, Canada to Norman and Cecilia Anderson. Growing up in Canada, worked as a farmer’s housekeeper before getting her high school degree and nursing degree before moving to the United States to work.

Earnest L. Watson, Jr. went home to be with The Lord on December 5, 2022. He was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi on July 23, 1948, and was the first son of Earnest and Georgia Watson. Earnest attended John R. Buchtel High School and after graduation he joined the United States Army until August 22, 1968, serving in the Vietnam War. He was raised in St. Paul A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Rev. Lincoln Cadelle.

The other day I needed help with my father, and I was ringing the bell for half an hour before someone even came out to help me. I talked to the manager, and they are going to do training for the nurses and the certified nursing assistants so they'll know how to deal with Alzheimer's and dementia patients. They need to have people who understand them. He had a fall, but I didn’t get a phone call. He's an elderly person, and he should have been X-rayed, but he was not.

They had quite a few activities for the residents, they had a gym where they did PT and OT. They also had a cafeteria, gift shop, a family room, and a list of recreational activities. Parker's short-term rehab facility promotes independence and rapid recovery following a wide range of surgeries, injuries, and diagnoses. Patients receive highly-customized treatment plans, superior rehabilitation, and medically complex care as needed. The staff is abusive, the food is horrible and no one in management cares to correct the deficiensies unless the department of Health gets involved.

It’s extremely clean, peaceful and welcoming here. Being someone with negative impressions from past experiences with these types of facilities, I can honestly say that I have not one complaint about Parker Jewish. That is extremely rare for me as a picky New Yorker who works in the medical field.

The social worker at Parker was rude on the phone and focused on irrelevant mis-information to determine that they could not care for the patient. After speaking with the social worker, I agree that they can't care for the patient. There is no way I would leave her with them. If this is any indication of the care the patients get there, I would stay as far away as possible from Parker. My father was a recent patient at Parker Jewish Institute and the care he received was excellent.

Comprehensive Community Hospice

My mother is at Parker Jewish Institute, and everything is very good. It's very clean, and they attend to everything but they're just understaffed. They seem to be the most honest, and they were the ones who said they can't make promises. Everybody from the parking attendant up is so friendly and helpful, and anytime I make a phone call, I can get in touch with somebody. There was no lapse in any kind of care even when they'll be in a transition and kept me in the loop.

All the staff, therapists, clinicians and doctors are consummate professionals. They constantly check on your loved ones. They are highly attentive, professional, encouraging, and caring people to the point where they are selfless and place your loved ones’ needs before their own breaks or needs.

Of course patients come into the facility frpom LIJ hospital and not through the front doee so they really have no plan to inform incoming patients about the deadly virus. I'd give this place no stars if I could.

The Doctor did not have her file, did not examine her, he would smile and say you look fine dear.

In the rare instance that I''ve had an actual human being pick up, he/she could not provide any information, yet promising to call me back, which never happened. If THAT wasn''t enough, a medical procedure was performed on him WITHOUT contacting me . This was due to a nurse breaking the dialysis port into him, which no one bothered to relay to me either.

It is the worst health care facility I have ever seen and I have been to plenty as a patient and caregiver. The staff is completely unresponsive to both patients and family members. I am not even confident my father has been given the meds he needs to survive, and I have been waiting over an hour to speak to a nurse.
